All my Longboards, Mini mals and Shortboards are glassed with 6oz cloth. Two layers on the deck and 1 layer underneath. All my polished boards are polished resin. I do not use any automotive clear like many other manufacturers. click to view larger image

This shaped tail is a bit less responsive than a square tail, but in large, fast waves this is needed as you don't want such a responsive board. 7'2" The 'Retro' mini mal is now more popular than the regular mini mal. It's shaped with a slightly concaved deck, keeping the rider stable while paddling. The 2 1/2" thickness goes nearly out to the rails giving more rail volume and boyancy. The pointed nose and fin angles makes this shape very 'short board' like. Red sprayed stripes.
